The Main Event

	The evening kicks off with Bideford Carnival at 6pm The carnival starts from the Pill Car Park and travels around the town before returning to the Quay After the carnival procession the Massed Pipes & Drums at 7.45pm A unique chance to see up to 150 pipers and drummers marching along the historic Bideford Quay, playing traditional tunes including the famous Highland Cathedral.

Bringing a taste of the highlands to Devon

 Bideford Quay comes alive to the skirl of the pipes and the swing of the kilt. It's become home to the biggest gathering
of Pipers & Drummers in the South West of England as part of the Bideford Festival of Piping & Drumming.
